Conservation Report

For most, the end of the school year and a busy spring workload signal a time to wind down and relax. If obligations allow, you may even find time to grab your fly rod and seek some well-deserved quiet time to yourself. Responsibilities can wait.

As you’re enjoying that recuperation time, know that the BCFFF continues its responsibilities behind the scenes year-round on a wide range of conservation issues both locally (i.e. you) and provincially. Some issues are big, some small. Some are short term, and some appear endless. Some are simple, most are complex. They all serve our mission to advocate cooperatively with governments, First Nations, and other organizations for sustainability of fish, fish habitat and quality angling. We are making a difference, but it’s unobvious to most.
